nice! You know you can develop film in Caffenol (B&W - I use it on extremely expired C-41 rolls I get from thrift stores). All you need is a light-tight closet, a developing tank, a sink and stuff from the grocery store. You do have to buy fixer, but that's cheap and re-usable.
The developing is not so much the problem, I still have tanks and change bag. I miss my enlarger! I do have a scanner that will scan negs. Right now it is more of too many hobbies and not enough time. I thought when I "retired" it would all happen, lol, but I have ended up still working part time, so hobbies and interests get "rotated" and it is just easier to shoot digital.
I try to keep my film photography alive, and am lucky to still have a working darkroom - though I don't use it as often as I should. I do enjoy my digital, too. And I do love the Hipstamatic Tintype effect.
ahh, well. Just so you know, it's easy & cheap. It's really the scanning part that takes the most time. At some point I'll have to get a real C-41 color developing kit and discover just how hard developing actually is. Caffenol is fun and way more forgiving about time & temp than the real chemistry is. (:
